J3atin GfuS Mrs. Kirkpatrick contributes much of her time making the Latin Club an interesting and worthwhile or¬ ganization. These students are dressed as typical Roman citizens. Each first year member must dress in this style for initiation. The Latin Club has been organized for the purpose of giving interested students a way to learn more about Latin and Roman culture. The officers of the Latin Club are as follows: Jerry Smatliers, president; Tim Rogers, secretary; Cathy Fletcher, vice-president; and Lee Anna Dotson, treasurer. Each first year member is required to dress in this manner for initiation An opportunity to become better acquainted with the life, customs and literature of the members of the Spanish-speaking nations is offered to mem¬ bers of the Spanish Club. Under the leadership of Miss Blay, the group regularly presents planned and instructive programs.
