Officers of the Pisgah Aviation Seminar and Flying Club are; Mr. T. L. Francis (sponsor), Roger Higgins, treasurer; Danny Bishop, Secretary; Mark Pruett, President; and Joe Cable, Vice-Presi¬ dent. Pisgah’s Aviation Seminar is one of the newest clubs at Pisgah. Although, it just organized, it is one of the most active clubs at Pisgah. One of the projects of the seminar is to organize a Civil Air Patrol Wing in Haywood County. Objectives of Aviation Seminar are to develope traits of leadership in young persons interested in careers of aviation. Under the leadership of Mr. Francis, the sponsor, several field trips have been taken. One trip was to the Asheville Airport, two trips were taken to the Asheville Municipal Airport, and one trip to the Hendersonville Airport.
