Officers ot the Vica Club are Ken Smith, president; Marshall Carter, treasurer; Gerald McCreary, vice- president; Gary Trull, second vice-president; Mike Sor¬ rells, reporter, and David Jenkins , secretary. The Vocational In¬ dustrial Club of Pisgah was just recently organized to bring ad¬ ditional help to all students participating in trade and industrial education. The goal of V.I.C.A. is to help stu¬ dents with interest in Trade, Industrial, Technical, or Health Fields become happy, mature, productive citizens. Two of the purposes of V.I.C.A. are to help students attain purposeful lives, and to create enthus¬ iasm for learning. 106

The Distributive Education Club at Pisgah serves to supplement the instruction that the student receives in the classroom and on the job. PisgalTs D. E. C. A. Club members work at different jobs according to their various capabilities. Under the leadership of Mrs. Severance, their sponsor, they have accomphshed many worthwhile jobs. The D. E. C. A. Club enables students to earn money while at the same time receive their needed credits. Officers of the D. E. C. A.
