The primary aim of the F.F.A. club is to develop agricultural leadersliip, and citizenship. Some of the activities are: soil judging, livestock judging, dairy judging, and public speaking. Officers of F.F.A. are: Wade Reece, President; Mr. Nave, sponsor; Tommy Wilson, Vice-President; Eddie Brown, Reporter; Armon Long, Secretary; Troy Jacobs, Treasurer; Allan Warren, Sentinel. The Student Council of Pisgah Senior High School is the governing body of student activi¬ ties. Members of the council are elected by their respective homerooms. The Student Council member is a strong medium through which student opinion is heard and council activity is related to the homeroom members. Following a week of intensive campaigning, the officers of the Student Council are elected each spring in a schoolwide election. These officers represent the school at the district and state conventions to learn of the ways of other schools in the state. The Executive Council of the Student Council, which consists of the chairman of the various committees throughout our school, approves or disapproves of various ideas before they are brought up before the full Student Council.
