SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES SEMINARS Iris Smathers, Dianne Stamey, Sandy Singleton, Brenda Thompson, Namoi Reese, Colleen Crawford, Nona Hyatt, Rita Thompson, Ann Deneen, Gail Mathis; Muriel Kelly, Linda Carter, Rebecca Dayton, Nina Haney, Mary Anna Kelly, Debra Culbright, Cathy Lane, Phyllis Stiles, Nancy Jones, Susan Shumolis, Paula Erwin; Tim Moses, Rodney Mabry, Mark Brown, Alan Stiles, Ronnie Deaver, Dennis Childers, Marc Pruett, and James Hipps are the members of the Humanities Seminar. Ronnie Deaver, Tracy Plemmons, Dennis Childers, Robert Allen, Robert Eggleston, Paul Gillis, David Conard, Woody Fish, Mike Ray, Rego Jones, Terry Barrett, Lorene Sprinkle, Dale Heatherly, Juanita Lankford, Pat Howard, Nancy Holland, Joyce Hargrove, Pam Howell, Gary Wooten, Carroll Jones, Marvin Parrish, Roger Clark, and Johnny Woods are all active members of the Monogram Club. MONOGRAM CLUB “What for you, buddy?” The Monogram Club is an organization for all the students of Pisgah High School who letter in any of Pisgah’s many interscholastic sports. It is one of our newer clubs, for it was formed last year at the end of foot¬ ball season. Promoting good sportsmanship and fair play, the Monogram Club is one of our school’s finest clubs. Young athletes have the op¬ portunity to be a service to their school through its many activities. At present, one of the club’s projects is to run the concession stand during the basketball and wrestling games. Heading the club this year are David Miller, president; Mike Mathews, vice-president; Elaine Hall, secretary; Joe Morgan, treasurer; and Paul Gillis, sergeant-at-arms. The Monogram Club also has a board of directors. The members of the board this year are Patricia Green, Doug Clark, Mike Ray, Steve Hardin, and James Hipps.

MA TH SEMINAR Members of the Math Seminar include Max Bumgarner, Rickey Miller, Doris Ford, Marilyn Mease, Randy Drake, Gary Sloan, Daniel Wines, and Grover Cable. The Math Seminar is one of Pis- gah’s most benefiting organizations. The students enrolled in it are striving to expand their knowledge of math and its facets that are not offered in school. OFFICE ASSISTANTS The office aids include Dianne Wilson, Elaine Bradish, Jean Sharp, Pat Howard, Terry Cable, and Alba Jo Cook. These girls are gaining much experience which will enable them to operate an office and the work involved when they finish their training. Other office assistants include Suzanne Rice, Margaret Broyles, Margaret Allison, Nancy Baines, Gloria McKennish, and Debbie Queen. They are a valuable asset to the operation of the office of Pisgah Senior High School. Collecting and mark¬ ing absentee slips, answering the tele¬ phone, making out the absentee list, operating the intercom, and helping the teachers are just a few of their varied duties.
