Choral Club Presents A Number of Concerts The Choral Club of Pisgah Senior High School is bubbling over with beautiful music. This year its members took part in a winter concert and did wonderfully well. They also presented a program for the students at the White Christmas. This program lifted the spirits of everyone and helped to make Christ¬ mas a festive time for all of the listeners. They are also planning to present a spring concert in the future. Their leader, Mr. Raines, is confi¬ dent that it will be a success. 1 10 •

Pisgah’s Band of Bears Makes Fine Pisgah ' s Band of Bears, under the direction of Mr. Larry P. Raines, has performed well the task of serving its two masters, the school and the public. Despite the fact that no band camp was held this year and that the Pis- gah High bandroom was not completed, causing the mem¬ bers to have to go back and forth from Pisgah to the Canton Junior High bandroom for practice, the Band of Bears gave an excellent performance in half-time shows during the football season. They also followed our team to the away games and to the Western Division Championship playoff at Burlmgton. Mr. Larry Raines was given the task of organizing the instrumentalists into one functional unit, and has done an excellent job. Our thanks go to him for helping to make Pisgah ' s Band of Bears the number one band. 1 12
