Besides being a conscientious teacher of Senior Social Studies and American Literature, Mr. Hardman is a dedicated coach of basketball, baseball, and football. Naturalness and sincerity in working with students have endeared him to all fortunate enough to be associated with him. The sincere gratitude of the student body to Coach Hardman cannot properly be expressed in words, but the memory of all he has done for us will live in our hearts. When a man speaks or acts with good intention, then happiness follows him like his shadow that never leaves himf, Page Two V .npr li' X if ,I ' 974W Fl J M WW' N 5' raw Qiiikf, '!V,W 1- X ' ,,,f??7y,j , fqY iff!!! fy ,b ku XQI 5 . Nearly half of the student body visited the library daily to do reference Work, to read newspapers or magazines, or to select an interesting book to read. To serve the readers and help keep the library quiet and attractive, there were 35 student librarians. They assisted Miss Stephenson with the management and maintenance of the library, performing such duties as checking out books, pasting in new pockets, dusting shelves, and arranging magazines. Miss Velma Stephenson and her librarians rendered an invaluable service to Piqua Central students.
