H. S., eager and anxious to start a new adventure. With sadness, we now leave those same doors. As we look back and recall some of the friends, teachers, and events, we realize how much our high school career has meant to us. It was these things that made our four years here the best years of our life. It is through the knowledge and understanding of our teachers, plus our own initiative that we pass through these doors. We leave Piqua Central- knowing that we have been well prepared to seek our place in the community. and look forward to whatever lies in store for us in the future. Connie Stephenson, Barbara Miller, Tom Hart, Justine Craft I-IE library has been very useful to students this year. Miss Velma Stephenson and approximately fifty student assistants have succeeded in keeping it pleasant and colorful. Whenever we were looking for reference materials or just a good book the librarians were always ready to help. Besides this duty they also checked in books, took attendance, and kept the periodical room ready for use by the students. Since more than half of the students used the library every day, it was important that the librarians perform their duties well and they have definitely achieved this goal. L' etude d' une langue etrangere ajoute a nos connaissances non seulement des mots et des regles de grammaire, mais ce qui est bien plus important, une connaissance et une appreciation des hommes. The club's activities during the year included a supper meeting at which some sixty members enjoyed colored slides and a lecture about Paris. At Christmas, cards with greetings in French were made. ln March the club went to the movie So This ls Faris.
