Richard Torres •-! If - VICE-PRINCIPALS The Administrative Staff at Pioneer High School has been of great help to the students and faculty. Due to proposed budget cuts in August, the school was forced to go on a five period day instead of six. But they were able to imple- ment a schedule which included an A and Z period to facilitate students ' meeting their requirements, while allow- ing time for extra-curricular activities. Such activities includ- ed Drill Team, Pepsters, News Staff, Annual Staff, and Sports. Thanks to Mr. R. Torres, Business and Activities, Mr. J.C. Low, Curriculum, and Mr. D. Rock, Guidance, the 1983-1984 year has been a dynamic and prosperous one. TnpJHi

We are really fortunate to have such a dedicated coun- seling staff. They are there willing to help with any problem that may appear. This year they took on the challenge of the variables of A and Z periods. 224
