PiHil978. . . We had two special people in mind for the 1978 TORCH dedication. The first person is a man who has a great love for kids. He was born at the Murphy Memorial Hospital in Whittier, California on February 23, 1950. He graduated from Rosemead High School and went on to Rio Hondo College to receive his AA. After Rio Hondo College he attended Cal State Los Angeles and worked hard to achieve his BA. At the present time he is taking an Economics course at Cal State Los Angeles. He is the Community School Coordinator. Through his work he is trying to better the relationships between the teachers and the students while working with the community. He is interested in the Real Estate field and would someday like to go into business for himself. In his spare time he enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, tennis, and golf. He likes to watch football, baseball, and basketball. He is involved with little kids, as he likes to form little league teams. And when he ' s not busy with these activities, he enjoys spending his time with his wife Jeanette and his son Michael. For the 3 years that he has been at Pioneer, he feels that Pioneer has really changed. We are getting bigger and better and the students are more go oriented. He really loves working with kids and especially the kids at Pioneer. For his great love and concern for the students at Pioneer, the Annual Staff takes pride in dedicating the 1978 TORCH to . . .
