Class History Dear Mrs. Callaway, i s we think back to our beginning In school, It starts in 1952 with you as our first grade teacher. There were eighteen cf us then, and seven of us; John, Charlotte, Charles, Dlanne, Terry, Diana, and Carroll C. have attended Pinnell all twelve years. Janet Minor had gone eleven. years with us to school but is now attending Dover High School. Carl attended Pinnell these twelve years except for one semester. We were very fortunate to have you for our second grade teacher. As we moved on to the third and fourth grade, we lost you as a teacner, but we gained Mrs. St. Martin and Mrs. Brose. In the fifth and sixth grades we began to realize that school was getting mere difficult. But Mrs. Canada helped us master our subjects. The next year as we .loumeyed up stairs we elected officers and Mr. Mallott for our seventh grade sponsor. Mr. Price was our eighth grade sponsor. In i960 we entered high school, Dlanne was elected President; Carl, Vice- ■ resident; Diana, Secretary; and Charlotte, Treasurer. We worked at niany tasks to make money. Mrs. C-abbard, our sponsor for both our reshmen and Sophomore years, took us nine reshm.an to Pish Lake in La Grange County for a week end. We have many happy memories cf this trip. Our Sophomore officers were; President, Carl, Vice-President, Janet; Secretary, Dlanne; and Treasurer, Charlotte. We were still working toward our Senior ' l rip. Our Junior year we elected Diana as President, Carl as Vice-President, Janet as Secretary, and Charlotte as Treasurer. We made money at the Junior Carnival, Box Social and Square Dance, Candy Sales, and our Junior Class Play, Desperate Ambrose . Mrs. Guthrie was our new sponsor. Now we are Seniors and Mrs. Guthrie is leading us again. Through all these years we have lost many and gained many students. Now there are four- teen of us. Carl is President, Charles is Vice-President, Terry is Secretary, and Putch is Treasurer. We have had a Senior Play, Finders Creepers , another Square Dance, paper drive, and we have sold maglzines as well as worked at many other orojects to make money for our long awaited graduation and Senior Trip. We wish to thank you for the fine start you gave us in school. If you had not laid a good foundation we might not have been where we are today. We will miss you, Mrs. Callaway, but we will never forget you. Very sincerely yours. The Senior Class of 1964

Class Prophecy Dear Janet, I was very happy to receive your letter today. You asked about the graduates of 1964 so I shall tell you about each graduate. Our twins are two years old now. They have blonde hair and blue eyes, and we think they ' re the cutest children we have ever seen. Dlanne and her husband also have a set of twins plus four other children. They ' re still living in the house by the railroad tracks. Bex went to the service about a month after graduation; then when he was discharged he was rich enough to buy a line of A P Stores. He ' s doing very well now. Diana is a very busy woman with her married life and also a bus- iness career. She and her husband have a six month 61d girl. She ' s the sweetest little child. Wilma is now a doctor at L U. Medical Center in Indianapolis. She and her husband have three children. John is a dentist now and a very busy one at that!! His wife says she herself has to make an appointment to see hlB. . Butch is a quite successful barber and is getting so much business that he had to open a larger shop. He and his uncles went together and built a new one called, Fergies Chop Shop . Charlie went on to college but that didn ' t curb his interest in cars. As you probably read in the newspapers he will be a participant in the 500 Mile Race this year. He won second place last year. Sandy is teaching History and French in a big school In California. Charlotte is now a buyer for Wm. H. Block Co. She is now in Paris at the big fashion show there. Terry is still in college. He is studying to be a doctor. He failed the swimming course because he wanted to wear a swimming cap to protect his hair but they wouldn ' t let him,, so he quit the course. C.C. as ycu remember works at the Indianapolis Hews as a Type- liner. He is advancing quickly in his field. Carl, as you ' ve probably reed in the newspaper, is in Cape Kennedy, he has sent several sattlelites up and is now about to finish the most important one of all, the one in which he will be the first man to the moon. Ted is married and has two children. They love farm life and I understand he is quite successful. Well, that about covers the Class of 196k,. 1 hope you enjoyed hearing about your former classmates. We were pleased you could attend our graduation. We wish you success with your faihily and your career. Write again soon. A friend, Nancy
