Victories Few But Rewards Many for J.V. Team The Pink Hill Junior Varsity team under the direction of Coach Bobby Davis experienced a losing season with a record of 2 wins and 14 losses. Lack of height as well as a real scoring threat proved to be the detrimental factors. The Hornets made up for it with good spirit, hustle, and fine sportsmanship that always characterizes a basketball team that loves the sport. W. G. Smith and Jimmy Sandlin battle three Contentnea players for arebound. The J.V.'s lost this game by a slim three point margin. Members of the LITTLE HORNET BASKETBALL team are Scotty Stroud, Haywood Smith, Vance Murphy, Danny Hood, Bill Turner, Mike Pickett, Jerry Noble, Donald Kennedy, J. M. Strickland, and Billy Brewer.
