Victories Few But Rewards Many for J.V. Team The Pink Hill Junior Varsity team under the direction of Coach Bobby Davis experienced a losing season with a record of 2 wins and 14 losses. Lack of height as well as a real scoring threat proved to be the detrimental factors. The Hornets made up for it with good spirit, hustle, and fine sportsmanship that always characterizes a basketball team that loves the sport. W. G. Smith and Jimmy Sandlin battle three Contentnea players for arebound. The J.V.'s lost this game by a slim three point margin.
