In Memoriam It is all over now, but we remember John Fitzgerald Kennedy. We remember the smiling young president with his lovely wife and children beside him, his energy, his enthusiasm, and his wisdom, We remember the suddenly grief-stricken classroom when the announcement of the as- sassination came to us, We felt a loss as personal as though it had been the classmate across the aisle. We knew that we were living history and felt all the more humble. We remember the flag-raising ceremony on our front campus the morning of his burial, the noon memorial services, and our grief which was shared by millions throughout the world, It is all over now, but we remember, We are young and his words are a challenge to us, ‘‘Ask not what your country can do for you.
