The job of selling annual advertise- ments falls on the editor and his business staff. Much of this is done during the late summer. Scotty Wiley, Linda Sanderson, and Johnny Turner sell Mr. Sam Kennedy of C and M Cash Store an ad. Our own photographer Steve Ward is always on the job trying to get that particular moment recorded for you. Professional photographer Cliff Adams risks life and limb to get good pictures for our yearbook, ; The cubby-hole” is where the complete process of planning takes place. The staff of the HORNETS' NEST finds itself quite often struggling through snapshots and individual pictures to decide which ones should be used. Staff members here are Carolyn Kennedy, Judy Gail Blizzard, Linda Sanderson, Linda Heath, Scotty Wiley, and Sandra Sanderson. Hornets’ Nest Recreates This Year Through Words and Pictures It takes an entire year of searching, finding, and record- ing information for your HORNETS' NEST by every member of the staff. Copy sheets, pictures, rulers, and typewriters are only a few pieces of the equipment used daily by the staff. The staff has worked diligently at free periods in order that October 15, December 22, and February 22 deadlines might be reached, A visitor to the cubby hole would be amazed to see how an entire yearbook is planned in detail and all pictures drawn to scale. Martha Hill is busy replacing borrowed materials into the informational file, Charles Miles, Alice Sarvis, Ralph Herron, and Rosemary Taylor are performing a daily job for Library Club members - - straightening the magazines, Library Club Strives to Improve Our Most Important Research Area The library is an indispensable part of our elementary and high school program. Students from all classes come here to gain knowledge on hundreds of subjects and to read for pure relaxation and enjoyment. The Library Club members help to make library experiences more meaningful to stu- dents by carefully and systematically working for a neat and modern library, Club officers are Joyce Smith, president; Dianne Taylor, Rose Howard, Susan Murphy, and Rose- mary Taylor.
