MATHEMATICS The current goal of the Math department is to give all Pingry students some degree of computer literacy. To reach that goal, the department is making several significant changes. A five week course will be offered to selected two year math students. An Advanced Placement computer sci- ence course is planned for next year. Goals con- cerning curriculum include satisfying individual students' needs. This is accompanied by the ex- pansion of course offerings and a more careful and precise placement procedure. l.
