CLASS ln the fall of 1948, four trembling boys en- tered the First Grade room in the old school. Greeting Mrs. Wasasier were Rob Gibby, who was born with a silver Mexican speed-wrench in his hand, Carl Haines, who shovels it fastest by virtue of vocation, Terry Montgomery, the man who never returned, and Skip, the elephant, Reitman. In the First Form the ranks were again swelled by: Larry Clayton, Pingry's representative to the Plainfield Country Club, Rett Foster, whose mother runs a boarding house for the Unholy Five, John Green, more commonly known as the Spider, followed closely by Tom Johnson, Ernie May, a do-it-yourself organist, Steve Meyer, who
