Treasurer Ashley Alexander “Be prepared to do the most work and receive the least credit of any organization in the school: These are the first words that a new student council member hears. From their election last April until they leave office in the Spring, the Student Council members are constantly at work. Freshmen orientation, parking registration, freshman elections, spirit week. Homecoming parade, door decorations, canned food and money drive, flower hour, the talent show and elections each Spring along with various Sock-Hops throughout the year are just some of the major projects which the PHS Student Council sponsors each year. 35
