Lloyd played basketball in his freshman year and won the Industrial Arts Award. Frances is also our Homecoming Queen. Both are members of the class of '62. 3£ ome coming Queen Miss Frances Robson was chosen this year's Homecoming Queen by the student body of Pinehurst High School. Frances sponsored Gary Cameron who is president of the senior class and plays basketball. The team won victories over Aberdeen, Cameron, Candor, Biscoe (3), Westmore, Farm Life, and Greenwood. Losses were to Cartilage, Candor, High Falls, and Vass Lakeview. COACH ROGER PASCHAL When the annual went to press the Pinehurst boys' basket- ball team was looking forward to a much improved season. Several key performers were returning. A total of nine lettermen were practicing daily. COACH ROBERT GILLIS At this time I believe the girls' basketball team will be the best I have ever coached which includes two undefeat- ed teams.
