After struggling through the ups and downs of the previous year we began our sophomore year with a bit more confidence. By this time we had learned that we could expect no more out of high school than we put into it; so books, facts, concentration, and knowledge became very important factors. Qa ie fey Our junior year, with all the extra activities and the Junior-Senior Prom, was light and gay. We found many new things in store for us, but the highlight of the year was the day we proudly displayed our class rings. To us, this meant work, achievement, and a mark of distinction. And now, it is upon us--our senior year. The time seems rather short since we began as shy, success-conscious freshmen. Over the last four years we have experienced hard work, losses, victories--the moments have been filled with fun, laughter, sorrows, tears. Time will hastily bring to us that final day when we shall proudly walk down the aisle to receive our diplomas. And as we, with mixed emotions, transfer our tassels from right to left, these things will form glorious memories Of Days Gone By. Qo-a+tey Club The features are written, The pictures are taken, And the heads of the annual staff Sure are achin'. But our worries are over, The rushing has stopped, And down in the nearest Chair we've ker-flopped. The cobwebs and dust On our desks have collected, Because of the classes We have neglected. And on that next tesr There'll be plen'y of guessin' 'Cause we just ain't had time To study our lesson. Our strength --exhausted, Brains--scattered as can be, And that's why we're called The Cooney Club, you see? 7 e £ tA jias Wi: •• y' V y ,i i. vL' •' •:• ,) I m Wmm mwm.
