Then came the srxth under the supervrsron of Mrss Hutchms and Mrs Touchstone Here we were Jomed by James Sandtfer Jumor hrgh at last' That was the year of who s where and how do you get there Of course everythmg was a turmorl, Here we were Jomed by Cecrl Jones, We were under the duectxon of Mrss Mrlton and Mr Z.1rmer In our last year of Jumor hrgh we were under the strong arm of Mrs. Grace Townsend The nrnth grade came and went leavmg many memorres on the pages of time Our sponsor that year was Mr George Hope In the tenth grade we were very fortunate rn havmg as our sponsor Mrs Geneva Bateman who gurded us through our last three years of school, From the halls of Plant Crty came Shrrley Townsend Mrs, Bateman called us her precrous orchtd class because we surprrsed her wlth an orchrd at the close of the year Now we were ready for the eleventh grade and prom year Our Play, WINNING SCHEMBZS was a brg success At the play we presented Mrs, Bateman w1th an alhgator bag to show our apprecratron for her help and gurdance Then came the trme when Pmecrest began two sessrons summer and w1nter We were the frrst class to ever graduate from Prnecrest rn Jlme At thrs trme we were Jomed by Annette Davis Elsle Vmson Loutrell Brannon Edwma Johnson, and Tommy Mercer all from Turkey Creek Mrs. Bateman, strll our sponsor helped us put on the senror class play GOOD GRACIOUS' GRANDMA At the play we presented Mrs Bateman wrth a house coat, gown and another orchrd To Mrs. Townsend we presented a Jewelry box and a carnatron corsage Then came Commencement Exercises and we frnrshed our hlgh school days wrth flymg colors Vaya Con Dras to dear old Ptnecrest l-hgh School and rts faculty.
