CLASS HISTORY Time certainly has-' passed quickly: it seems like only yesterday we were all starting out in these, the best years of our lives. Our freshman year started out with the election of officers. Paula Butcher was chosen president and Jodelle Fox was picked as our vice-president. Our secretary was Lisa Getman and treasurer was Tami Snyder. Pam Dawley served as girl representative. Mr. Mills was picked as our ever faithful advisor. We were soon in the process of selling room fresheners. I'm sure that everyone will remember carrying those big boxes home! May and spring arrived and it was time for the annual freshman dance. We started preparing for that, and finally, when the big night was upon us, we almost didn't have a band! Everything turned out okay, and we will always remember all of the fun we had although I'm sure some can remember better than others! On this happy n0te, we started our sophomore year. Everyone was already thinking about senior year, but Ms. Ervin, our new advisor, got our minds off the future and back on the present. Our first job was to elect officers. Debby Langless was chosen president while Jodelle Fox continued on as vice president. Lisa Getman stayed on as secretary as did Tami Snyder in the job of treasurer. Jeff Eklund was chosen boy representative and Pam Dawley was chosen once again as girl representative. As I said, Ms. Ervin put us to work, and it paid off. We sold candy bars and other kinds of candy during school. We also sold Easter candy and posters. We had our own version of Almost Anything Goes and held a dance. Our class always did have the most spirit, and we showed it by selling P.V. shirts and shorts. Cheryl Austin and Doug Smith served as attendants at the Homecoming Dance, which was an enjoyable evening for everyone. We ordered our class rings at the end of the year and couldn't wait until October when we would receive them. We had a class picnic where we all learned some new and fun games. We also held two car washes in the summer. Thanks to Ms. Ervin pushing us to meet our goals, we -had a very successful year. She helped us alot and left us with many great memories.
