This year ou.r Student Council joined the State Student Council Association. This provides a means of communicating with other councils throughout the state and for exchanging ideas for projects. It pro- vides greater experience which helps as 'Young Teens Talk It Over. The officers, Richard Sandy, Richard Brown, Sharon Mead, and Sandra Pattyson lead the group in its activities and discussions. They are constantly searching for new ways to help our student council, and through that, to be of benefit to the entire school. The Student Council is to be commended for providing a more democratic way of government at Pine Valley and for truly being an organization where Young Teens Talk It over. Honor Society For the first time since its organization, the Honor Society was composed only of members chosen during the spring of '59. We ate proud to announce that our major project was the establishment of an honor study hall. We attended a meeting with other regional honor societies where we learned of ways to better our organizational activities. This long-to-be remembered year was climaxed by the annual field trip. Certainly all of the members of the Honor Society have agreed that where they were inducted into this organization, it was Their Finest Hour. Row One: J. Merrill, L. Emley, G. Scott, J.
