Keppel, D. Phillips, E. Lampson, Mr. Moore. Senior Flight Log FRESHMEN: ln September of 1950 the South Dayton class was joined by the one from Cherry Creek. At first this union was like the collision of two heavenly bodies, but most of the problems were ironed out and our journey began. To help lay a foundation for our treasury we established a coat check-room at the home basketball games. SOPHOMORES: During this year we had a dance, which proved to be a planet-shaking suc- cess. We also continued our check-room, held a tag day and sold newspaper subscrip- tions. IUNIORS: Card sales, our universally-famous play and several dances were our main fund- raising projects during this year. We had by now begun to look forward to the coming year with a mingled feeling of anticipation and consternation. SENIORS: This year we suddenly found ourselves the center of the school just as the sun is the center of the universe. Our activities included dances, our Senior Play, maga- zine sales, and our carnival. During these four years we have been travelling toward a diploma which has seemed, at times, as distant as the moon. During the journey our fortunes have risen and fallen like currents of air. Our treasury has, at times, soared among the clouds, and, at times, plum- meted to earth with a resounding thud. Our last major activity was our Senior trip, when we went rocketing away to Washington. Now we are ready to take off again, each on our own separate flight, but still bound together by the common joys and sorrows which we have shared. FOUL SHOTS CARNIVAL QUEENS 'Aff-gf
