Inter-Planetary Mediators LEFT TO RIGHT-Mrs. Darling, Mr. Rundell, Dr. Dunfield, Superintendent Anderson, Mr. Marquart, Mrs. Tingue, Mr. Zollinger, Mr. Phillips, Mr. Cooper, Mr. Curtis was the Moderator. A fine group in our planetary public relations department is the P. T. A. organization. Besides acting as a tie between parents and teachers, the group, under the leadership oi Mrs. Lillian Allen, has sponsored several worthwhile projects. This year has seen the in- novation of a much needed and greatly appreciated costume room. Several fathers donat- ed their services to build the room in the attic ot the Cherry Creek building and the mothers have sorted over and repaired the costumes which were already in the schools and have made new ones for use in Assembly programs and Plays. To finance the project, the com- mittee has sponsored the sale of Mrs. Snyder's candies. Two quilts are being made, with names embroidered on them at the price of twenty cents per person and this money will go into the general P. T. A. treasury. When finished, the quilts will be donated for use in the health rooms at Cherry Creek and South Dayton. At our March meeting at Cherry Creek, the Grade teachers had a splendid exhibit oi their work. There was also a most interesting panel discussion with Mr. Donald Curtis act- ing as moderator. In conjunction with the topic Future Foundations , the pros and cons oi a new school building were discussed. This is only one ofthe enjoyable meetings we have had this year.
