HK 191 pawefz. As freshmen we started our high school activities off with a bang. This was selling candy and having roller skating parties. In our sophomore year, the South Dayton tribe sponsored a dance called the Sophomore Hop . This same year the Cherry Creek gang put on their dance, Moonlight Serenade . The junior year found the tribe and gang, combined into one bunch at South Dayton. Our first activity was also our first business venture, namely, selling Christmas cards and stationery. In the spring of the year We presented our junior play, Seventeenth Summer that is remembered by every one. We sponsored two dances, a Saint Patricks Day Dance and a Valentine's Dance, both of which were very successful. We sailed. into our senior year with hopes so high the sky was the limit. The Football Dance was our first venture and a great success, it was. We next had a campaign to sell magazines, and this was not a flop by any means, as we greatly increased our bank roll. The climax was best of all as the losing team had to treat the winners at a party. We also had try-outs for our play The Campbells are Coming , that same evening. We'll never forget this play because in it we all had a chance to do What Come's Naturally . During the Christmas vacation we put on our Holiday Dance and soon afterward in the months to follow we sponsored a spaghetti dinner and a carnival. The Carnival with it's many attractions, was fun for all, even the seniors. Undoubtedly the greatest event was our trip to New York. What fun! We'll never forget it. The juniors and seniors had a formal ball in honor of us seniors. Surely was nice. Graduation! The final day and what is our future? May Doin' What Comes Naturally lead to success. t19l
