'-. uw.-..,.W, W... M , v A Scene From The Iuriior Class Play Seventeenth Summer' Class The Iuniors are fast approaching their final year of school . . . all thirty-four have worked hard. Cards and stationary sale started our year. With Mrs. Hall's help our treasury grew. We held a Valentine Dance at Cherry Creek and a St. Patrick Dance at South Dayton . . . St. Patrick and St. Valentine both happy. Entertained Seniors in early spring . . . all still living. The lunior play, the biggest event of the year gave us our lst big chance at acting . . . lots of work but lots of fun . . . Seventeenth Summer , presented May, l9-2U in South Dayton ard Cherry Creek . . .a teen age comedy-romance. Elizabeth Gould and Ray Wood distinguished themselves as Thespians of the first ratey as did Sally Van Worrner, loan Reynolds, Mary Lou Shultz, lirn Rider and all the rest of the cast. Big wheels of the class . . . six basketball players and three cheerleaders. The class is proud of thern. We are looking forward to our fourth and final year in school . . . Grganized Rod and Gun Club, and Freshmen K basketball team . . . coached by their advisor, Mr. Robertson . . . even had cheerleaders. The hat and coat check room at home basketball games . . . very successtul.
