From that time on he never lifted his eyes from the ground while walking. ln the course of Forty years he accumulated 29,5I7 assorted buttons, 52,172 pins, 7 pennies, a bent back, and a miserable disposition. He lost the glories of the light, the smiles of his friends, the songs of birds, the beauties of nature, and an opportunity to serve his fellow man. You are more likely to attain your rightful destiny if you look upward rather than downward and For- ward instead of backward. God gives his directions for your life one step at a time.
