'73 Mis s Ruth Maxfield, a graduate of Howard-Payne College, is the new plane geometry and algebra I and II teacher. At the present time she is working on her M.A. at E.T.S.C. She is one of the Student Council and junior class spon- sors. Mr. Larry Mildren is head coach at Pine Tree High School. He teaches civ- ics, Texas history, and drivers educa- tion. He has received both his B,S. and M.S.degrees from University of Tulsa, Texas A and I, N. T. 5. C.,a nd Denton. Mrs. Pearl Smith, the librarian of Pine T fe e High School, completed her training at M a r y Hardin-Baylor, Uni- versity of Texas, and T.S.C.W. She has received both he r B.A. and B.S. inLi- brary Science. She is librarian of P.T. H. S. where she has recently organized a Library Club. Mr. Tom Stratton is the assistant coach at Pine Tree School. He also he lp s students get to class by writing excuses. He attended E.T.B.C., where he received his B.S. degree. Mr. Roy Travis is one of the sopho- more c las s sponsors. He teaches in- dustrial arts at P.T.H.S. He attended E,T,S,T.C. where he achieved his B.S. degree.
