CLASS POEM We are ending twelve years of study, Twelve years we'll never forget, We are looking forward to the future, And we think of the past with regret. Regret that our school days are ended, But happy our friendships remain, To look back upon in the future, As the happiest days we have gained. George Clark, our only boy, Is quite a Romeo, to our joy, He's lots of fun, nice, and tall, Brother, can he play basketball! Darlene Durflinger, our musical one, At home or anywhere she's lots of fun, She plays and sings like a bird in a tree, Someone would faint if she were off key. Sharon Booth, a cute little blonde, Of playing her flute she has grown quite fond, She's always ready to lead a yell, But who she will marry--that's hard to tell. Beverly Coffey is Dan's girl, At school or at home she's always a whirl, Laughing and joking and smiling too, She's a pal to all the whole year through.
