CLASS POEM Although our school days soon will end, We've still to go round i1ife's big bend . Although we have not set our plans, We've got a big job on our hands. In these twelve years we've had real fun, i But now our life has just begim. And in our class the number's nine, Of each of these, we'll feed you a line. Bonnie Clark, she does come first, Her only wish-to be a nurse. In class she is the quiet one, And with her work she's always done. Alvin Coffey is next in line, And as a chum he's really fine. Though he's been with us just a while, It seems he always has a smile. Harris Kretzmeier-he's a clown, You never see him wear a frown. When he see's that certain Ringle , It really makes his little heart tingle. Mick Murphy is the youngest lad, In basketball-say he's not bad. He's going to college-he's a brain, We hope he'll make it down life's lane. Now for the shortest in the class, For her the future has been cast. She is cute and lots of fun, Barbara Ringle she's the one. Junior Skoog-handsome and tall, He's great at playing basketball. And when they call out, Roll up the rug He's always ready to jitterbug. Katrina Tabert's quite a gal, To us she is a darn good pal. Bob Carter has her heart and hand, And to her he's really grand. We wrote this poem, so its safe to say, You know our future lies not this way. We like to dance and cook and sew, But whom we'll marry. Do you know? By Evelyn Ringle and Cecilia Steiner .a,.
