 GATEWAY TO THE GARDEN GRAND MARCH WISHING WELL 'P'UMt CRAZY BOPSTERS The Junior - Senior Prom, which wa8 held on May 17, 1956, w«s one of the highlights of the schorl ye r. A three-course banauet began the evening in the school gym. Jerry Fields was master of ceremonies for the occasion, The welcome was given by Karen Weimar and the response by Jim Shervood. A short talk was given by Mr, Fields. Bev Bair read the class proohecy and Roger Hickman read the class will. Tip-Toe Through The Tulips and Little Dutch Girl In Sheboygan were sung by the Senior Girl's Sextette and Senior Boy's Sextette, The guests adjourned to the beautifully decorated armory auditorium, following the banouet. The theme, Dutch Polonaise , was carried out by means of an outdoor Dutch Garden. A wishing well in the center of the fir- : end gaily colored tulips added to the atmosphere. Howie Hill's Orchestra furnished music for the memorable occasion. DUTCH WINDMILL

 THE USEN A.IJD HER ATTENDANTS x tec6miKy The 1956 Homecoming was held October 5« Pine River wps victorious over Menagha in the football game, the score being 57-12 Between helves of the g me the Senior candidates: Harriet Youngf Linda Hardy, Charlotte Goochey, Ruth Ann Remiger pnd Jeanne Sechrer were introduced to the crowd of spectators. Of there five girls, Harriet wps crowned Homecoming ueen by co-cantpins Gene Kinkel and Eldon Hoorer. Angeline Stiller and Carolyn Bressem were the attendents fr m the Junior and Soohmore classes respectively. The annual Homecoming Dance took place immediately after the game, with many alumni attending.
