CLASS POEM The class of '55 are we» We re all as smart as we can be. The Education we've obtained Has caused the teachers so much pain. Now, before they turn us loose The whole senior class we'll introduce. A basketball player is Hod, His baskets are very often. But when it comes to referees He'd rather see them in a coffin. Wilma is a Jolly gal, A diamond she is snorting. And when Don Witt comes on the scene, She's sure to go out courting. Butch is Jolly and liked by all, He's president of our class. And when he gets in his old flivver, He's the envy of every lass. Carol is our beauty queen, She is tall and v rv neat. A certain lad from Pine River, Thinks she can't be beat. Kenny's the chemistry lad in our class, An engineer he should be. For his marks ere always high, And a good future he can see. Next, meet Marlene, She is always on the Job. And we all know She can't get along without Bob. Three cheers for Jo , She's sweet 8nd she's gay. He's a real lucky fellow Who gets Mss Jonelle Pay. Ronald has a gift of gab, A teacher he should be. But when it comes to Jonelle, Someday he'll be on bended knee. Mary Ann is a redhead, Her eyes are very blue. And every where Gene is, Mary Ann is there too. And here's another guy, They call him Fete for short. He's pretty good lr. everything, But basketball is his snort. Here comes Shirley down the hall, Her smile is always gay. She is the kind of girl You like to see every day.

CLASS POEK CONTINUED Gene's a guy with lots of pep, He's always on the stick. But that Plymouth that he coaxes, At times looks mighty sick. Here's a guy who sleeps in class, And pretends that he's reading, But when the teacher hollers Herb He wakes up Just a speeding. Sharon, the smart one in our class. She has quite a bit to show for. And when she graduates from school She's going to cbllege for more. Charles is a real chum, His career is quite uncertain. For every one that knows him Declares he's always flirtin'. Mariam is another senior, She dresses very neat. And no matter where you see her, Her smile is very sweet. Dick is our fullback. That boy can really run'. And when it comes to classes. He really has his fun. Here comes another redhead, His first name is Lester. He likes to draw, But best, he like's to pester. Doris is the quiet type, She studies hard for her grades. If she doesn't start looking at the boys, She'll end up with the old maids. Clarence Howe is quite the guy, For Jobs he isn't looken' 3ut when it comes to girls,— Boy'. He's really cookin'. Dorothy is our bashful girl, She's slim and very fair. As for her occupation, A men she Is trying to snare. How do Codner, Where have you been? I've been to Fine River To see my ral again. We've had lots of fun But now we are thru, As we are parting We feel rather blue, On June 2, you will hear many a sigh— Thank goodness, we trs e it—croodby!
