The day had finally come, the long hard twelve years were far from the scattered thoughts of the nervous but proud Seniors. We were Graduating! The very thought of it seemed impossible, but it was happening, really happening. We were not just friends and classmates of the Seniors or just the audience. We Were The Seniors. We were The Graduating Class of 49. We were receiving the diplomas we has been Waiting for. The precious documents lay in our hands, a fulfillment of a twelve year dream. Yes!  CLASS WILL The Senior Class of '49 now wishes to bequeath the following things to our teachers and under classmen. ONA PARCHUS wills her Senior romances to her sister, Lura, and her hair which she doesn’t want any more to Virginia Kunde. AVIS BARTLETT wills her extra pounds to Mrs. Moore, her Basketball ability to Arlis Johnson, and her writing ability to Richard Housmann. HAROLD BEGGS wills his corny jokes to anybody who can stand them, his pet name “Sonny” to Richard Travis and his Football proficiency to Duane Sheppard. MILDRED BLOOM wills her glasses which she never wears to anybody who will faithfully promise to wear them everyday, and her ability to eat pints of icecream to Clarion Shepard. DOLORES FINNEY wills her makeup to Laura Kruckow, her ability to argue with Harold Beggs and Karl Zaffke to anybody who thinks they can get a word in edgewise, and her temper to Rhoda Tuttle. FLORENCE FOWLER wills a little bit of her height to Janet Holden, her long fingernail to Irene Seebach, and her ability to gain knowledge by sleeping on her books to Florence Fowler. BOB KLINE wills his blonde hair to Mr. Hoff, his Basketball ability to Orville Lehto, and his high marks in school to MaryLee MacNames. WILLIAM MAY wills his job of water boy to Keith Reynolds, his most prized possession, his unused Chemistry Workbook, to Mrs. Landberg, and his height to Andy Skinner. JACK MCDOWELL wills his ability to sleep in classes to anybody who thinks they can get away with it, his long-winded conversations to Duane McKeebe, and his school attendance record to Hazel Zaffke. JOANNE ORTON wills her way with boys to Martha Munholand, her ability to Cheerlead to Dolores Kimball, and her ability to survive the cold to Mrs. McCaffery. BEULAH SHEPARD wills her slender figure to Barbara Delk, her long skirts to Myrtle Hardy, and her giggling ability to Lorene Sawyer. DALE SKINNER wills his quiet dignified manner to Earl Tyssedal, his fillings to anybody who needs some, and his black hair to Mr. Scyks .when his falls out. SHIRLEY MUNHOLAND wills her large feet to Fayola Cornwall, and her dimples to Mary Fowler who has only one. KARL ZAFFKE wills his mustache to Mr. Tuttle, his unused shaving kit to Darryle Sheppard, and his girl friends to Glen Eveland. 8
