A life that holds memories which we shall always cher- ish. These past years have been full of laughter, companionship, and security. Now, we leave all this behind and enter into a new and challenging life. To us, the seniors, this Pine Needle will be especially dear. Within its covers are memories which will al- ways remind us of our last year at Pine Level School. To the underclassmen it will also hold memories of their last year at Pine Level School. The seniors will go on to new phases of life. The underclassmen will continue their studies at the new con- solidated school. We hope you consider this annual a treasure worth possessing, because it is a symbol of the way of our school life. We will ever hold high the banner of Green and White with pride and honor to our Alma Mater. And with this pride and honor we present the 1964-1965 edition of the Pine Needle . . . In everything she attempts, whether it be guiding the seniors successfully through their most important year or teaching prospective secretaries to type, she does a superlative job. With her cheerful per- sonality, constant smile, and continuing hard work, she has won the admiration of the students, faculty, and the community. To Mrs. Shirley Sullivan, a teacher who gets the most effort from her students, a person who is loved and respected by everyone, and a friend to all who know her, we the Senior Class dedicate this 1965 Pine Needle. DeLane and Maurice know that luck isn't going to get them very far. Ambition first requires a determination which these two certainly have. To get things done ask the ones who can be depended onto com- plete the task. Esmond and Ross fit these requirements. Savannah and Wayne handle their popularity records more easily than they do this old-fashioned record for an antique phonograph. r 'T ., 2 'S A - t Af' P 'ff'?fs5f?fn:f, ...Ji fu frm l ' A pleasant good morning and an appreciative thank you are cour- tesies that seldom leave a bad im- pression.
