Hola ec? Ten years have passed since the class of 1957 spent their last Christmas at Pine Level High. Tonight they are gathering for a party in the large white, brightly lighted home of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Woodard. Gathered around a large fire place in the living room, is a happy family: Betty, Alton, and their four children. ' The first guest to arrive is Mrs. Charles Pilkington, formerly Gwen Strickland, with her husband. Living on their farm, she is content with life and their two children. A neatly dressed business man enters the door. When he removes his hat the guests recognize Charles. Jones, owner of Jones' Used Car Lot. After answering the telephone, Betty announces that Nettie Tyner will be a few min- utes late. As a telephone operator she will have to work overtime. Nettie is also very happily married. Still up to his high school pranks, a three star general, Shurrell Creech, slips through the back door with the fruit bowl from the dining room table. Leisurely entering are Billy Johnson and Norman Braswell talking over business. Life has been good to both. Billy has his own construction company and Norman his own garage. After serving their time with Uncle Sam, Billy Overbee and. Elton Evans have settled down to quiet married life. Elton and Billy have lust arrived from their downtown insur- ance office. Mrs. Guy Crocker, formerly Annette McArtan, is very happy. Living on their small farm, she goes back and forth to Johnston Memorial Hospital where she is laboratory technician. A dignified young man enters. He is Mr. Jimmy Starling, who has taken over his father's business as the smoothest car dealer in the state. Driving a '67 Pontiac, Charles Stallings, a pilot in the Air Force, arrives. Oh! Who is this? Of course, Shelvie Creech who is head nurse of the operating room at Johnston Memorial Hospital. The very expensively dressed young lady wearing furs arriving next is Phyllis Wood- ard, successful nurse at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Her husband, who is with her, is a pro- fessor at State College. The last member of the class to arrive is Billy Pittman, distinguished explorer. He is iust back from a big-game hunting trip in Africa. SENIOR PLAY .
