After eight long years of diligent study we finally entered high school in the year of l949, Mrs W. T. Batchelor was our freshman home room teacher, This was a year of hard study, and we soon be- came familiar with the name, Green Freshmen, The next year we lknown as Saucy Sophomoresul entered Mr. Batchelors rooms Now as we be- came Sophs, we remembered our own greenness and passed to the new freshmen our old name, l'Green Freshmen, This was the year when our noble group began to win recognition for itself in self-govern- ment. The following year we entered the eleventh grade and were very proud of being called Jolly Juniors. Mrs, Stott was our home room teacher. There were two main events which we remember from this year--getting class rings and preparing for our Junior-Senior Banquet. At last in '52, we became known as 'Dignified Seniors --an event we had awaited eleven years, Of all school years this seemed to be the most enjoyable, There was hard work, but we never gave up. We enjoyed play practice, annual staff meetings, and other senior activities, which were guided by our home room teacher, lvliss Starling. As our days at Pine Level l-ligh come to a close and with our graduation so near at hand, we are delighted to be called Seniors, As we leave, however, we realize that our journey together is complete and that we are ready to step forward to make our own pathways. ..-.,,., W mi Y , if-4 K4 HQ vw Q 7 'zu - X 'M WC 'S
