Touchton To the Senior Class of 1957 I write the following with deep sincerity. Long ago your education commenced at your Mother's knee and every word spoken, every deed done since that time has influenced your life as you in turn have influenced the lives of others. And now one of the major milestones in your preparation for life has been reached. You now leave high school to help in your fashion to mold the future of a community, a state, a nation. Another phase of your education now begins. I trust you all to carry with you a sincerity of purpose, an honesty, a loyalty, a fair share of all those attributes that you must have to build a strong Christian world. Our nation, as all nations, stands in greater need of the application of these fundamental principles than ever before and we look to the youth of today for a better tomorrow. For the faculty of this school I write that we hope we have provided you with enough of the moral, as well as the educational, needs to face the world. We ask you to remember: Have a loyal heart, have a spirit brave, Have a soul that is pure and true; Then give to the world the best you have And the best will come back to you. Sincerely,
