STQKIYLY ENGLISH A ROCKET IN HIS POCKET To Blue RimRock, a small town 'way out West, comes Oswald Agnew, a mild mannered young graduate of Hackensack Teachers College in Hoboken. lt's his first assignment, and he's understand- ably astounded to find that he is to be the first MALE teacher at RimRock High School in ten years! His first major problem is the principal, Miss Matchett, who surprisingly enough is also the football coach. Spaceman, an outerspace enthusiast student, sets his Sunny Baines . . There is also the prim, grim Miss Chisle, who is in solid with Miss Matchett and heartily disapproves of Mr. Agnew's approach to grammar until a student's strategy, changes her opinion of men, especially Mr. Agnew. IN MEMORIAM Margaret Evans Koshinski lt is an empty feeling which a person experiences when someone with whom he has worked suddenly passes away. Such a feeling gripped the teachers and students of Pine Grove Area High School when they learned of the death of Mrs. Margaret Koshinski at her home in Shickshinny on january 30, l966. Although Mrs. Koshinski was at Pine Grove for only one semester, she left our school with many things by which she will be remembered. Hav- ing taught in the Newark, New jersey, schools for more than thirty years she added an experienced touch to her teaching duties here. She also played a role in the revival of our high school's Dramatics Club. In addi- tion to her academic accomplishments, Mrs. Koshinski will long be remembered for her warm smile -- a smile which could penetrate even the coldest dispositions. It is therefore with sincere regret at the loss of such a fine person that the CARDINAL staff dedicates this page to the memory of Mrs. Margaret Koshinski. 80
