PROPHECY Bernard Thompson, who perfected the submarine for use even at the ocean'S greatest depths, is helping Nancy I. Zimmerman, the famous undersea explorer, to write up her latest reports. Delphine Mars operates a fleet of junks in the South China Sea. Philip Gorrell is the owner of the world famous Correll Circus. His most popular acts are Louisa Ankenbrandt, the tight rope walker, and Norman Zimmerman, the lion tamer. , Nancy Anspach is a waitress at the Peppermint Lounge, where Gerald Lengle is serving as official bouncer. For years Sharon Lengle has been trying to develop the everblooming plumb tree. Barry Kintzel, the chemical analyst, has been unable to find where she went wrong. Gary Pominville has been trying to raise apples under synthetic conditions. Nancy Dubbs became the most famous weather girl after correctly predicting sixty-seven consecutive hurricanes. Sara Schwalm, meanwhile, has been predicting earthquakes. Peggy Wargo spends most of her time picketing chewing gum plants since they have been forced to use syn- thetic ingredients because of a chicle shortage. Since his debut as a hairdresser, Steven Warner has brought about a revolution in women's hairdos. Terry Haas, the multi-millionaire, has decided to finance Gary Wolfe's project of irrigating the Sahara. Warren Weiss, because of his great impersonation, has inherited Louis Armstrong's trumpet. He has made a fortune just by letting people touch it. Red Skelton hired Tory Ditzler to take his place in The Silent Spot. Ronald Schneck is a talent scout for Robert Schnoke's TV program, which is something like the Ted Mack Show was when I was young. john Levan is the director of the Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestra. Eva Reed plays the tuba in the orchestra and james Daubert gives piano recitals during intermission. Mary Gilbert is resting her voice after singing The Barber of Seville at the Metropolitan Opera House. LaVerne Lengel has begun to manufacture bowling balls for the world champion, Sandra Fox. Sandra Schneck is getting some of the kinks out of her neck after coaching the Globetrotters for ten years. Ina Herring is re st- ing after her eighth successful season as coach of the Green Bay Packers. Ronald Kramer has just become the world's heavyweight boxing champ. A new school district including all of Schuylkill County has been organized. In this school Howard Hummel is teaching chemistry, Sandra Kutz is teaching health and joan Wolfe is the head of the history department. Leona Bowen is the head guidance counselor and the librarian is Nancy Schaeffer. Darlene Brown, the literary critic, has been praising Richard Zerbe's essays for some years now. Nancy M. Zimmerman is a ski instructor at a mountain resort. Erma Lutz has begun to package snow for space colonists to take along as a remembrance. Ronald Brown has become quite famous since he made his debut as a movie actor. Michele Bonawitz is the head cook at the Waldorf, her specialty being crepe suzettes. Beverly Forry, the butcher, sees that Michele gets only the choice cuts of meat. She also sends meat to the Acme Stores which are owned and operated by Gail Kimmel. Oriana Keefer runs a shop that overhauls toys with gasoline engines. Mae Kutz runs a huge newspaper in which Diane Krammes has her much quoted Lonley Hearts column. Sandra Krause will always be remembered for her marvelous ballet artistry in Swan Lane. Barbara Lehr is the owner of a huge mink farm. Deanna Luckenbill is the floor manager in a black licorice plant. Diamonds that have been cut by Patricia Gibson are almost priceless. Helen Heinbach and Linda Hoover are famous wandering folk singers. Three of their records have sold over three million copies. And last but not least, David Fisher has become the most popular playboy in the whole World. Hmmm, now that I look over that list, I guess they have reason for rejoicing. 75
