Our Congress, known to the students as the Student t'ouneil. was founded in 151213 with the sole purpose of attempt- ing to insure pi1l1'l0llSII1, cooperation. and helpfulness in l'. B. ll. S. and to give it a more democratic form of government. On the floor of the House suggestions are made and bills are passed. They are voted on by Congress and left to the presi- dent 's approval. As a result of a flag contest this year. the Student Count-il has produeed a sehool tlag which displays the letters P. B. H. S. and a pieture of the Zebra in white on a red baek ground. As is the custom, the Count-il helped sponsor the Zebra Banquet. whit-h was held .lleeember 'T in honor of the football players. The Council has featured many radio programs this year in an effort to eontrol propaganda. There have been pro- grams on most ofthe activities of the sehool sueh as the tilee Club. .Xnnual Stalt. Pine Cone, and Band. The programs were held every two weeks on 'Fluirsday nights from 7:15 to 7:30. Even educational quizzes have been given. with the students ehosen as the Vlt'lllllS. fPagc Eightj
