as Tom Keith looks like he has lost his date. Homecoming Week was very success- ful with a full schedule of activities pieced — = = a hae Cathy Vaughn dances the night away. lt . Dress Down — Hat Day, Wild 'n Crazy Hair Day, Cowboy Day, Roll 'em Up — Stuffed Animal Day, and Blue and White oe vey Seow, aoe eens 2 Students dance to the music of Southern Illinois Audio a well-attended Variety Show the results of the Homecoming Court were declared and Patti Little was announced as Home- coming Queen. After the Variety Show, the annual Bonfire was held. The parade was held on Friday where the floats were judged and the results were announced at the football game. Although Home- coming Week was a success, the game was rather a disappointment with a 27-7 loss against Murphysboro. The Junior Class received 1st place class float, the Senior float received 2nd. The VICA float was 1st in the Organizational floats, FHA float was 2nd. At the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night, students were enter- tained by Southern Illinois Audio. Patti Little was crowned queen during the cor- onation ceremony. The court consisted of: 5th Maid Laura Rushing, escort Jim Broha; 4th Maid Susan Malinski, escort Jim Bigham; 3rd Maid Rhonda Cuccatti, escort Tim McKinney; 2nd Maid Chris Churchill, escort Jeff Chapman; 1st Maid Claudia Craig, escort Tim Stewart; Queen Patti Little, King Danny Carns; and Retir- ing Queen Jeanne Templeton, escort Don Wanack. 26 Homecoming

The Christmas Dance was co-sponsored this year by the FFA-FHA. Music was provided by the WCIL Jam Van. Shane Winter and Pam Kreger were crowned Christmas King and Queen. The court consisted of: 3rd maid Julie Folden, escort Brook Walton; 2nd Maid Sherry Hicks, escort Wade Graskewicz; 1st Maid Becky Malinski, escort Matt Cheek; King Shane Winter, Queen Pam Kreger; retiring King Danny Carns, retiring queen Patti Little.
