Mr. Walter Grady came to P.C.H.S. in the school year of 1975-1976. He saw an opportunity in “our town” of Pinckneyville, and decided to give P.C.H.S. a try. Having been our principal for three years now, he says that he likes living and working here very much. A graduate from the University of Arkansas, Mr. Grady has been employed at the following schools: Teacher-coach at Sikeston Public School, Sikeston, Missouri for three years; Superintendent of Schools, Bloomfield, Missouri for seven years; Superintendent of Schools, Morrisonville Community School, Morrisonville, Illinois for foumyears; and Superintendent of Schools, Illiopolis Community Unit District, Illiopolis, Illinois for seven years. Our office secretaries are Mrs. Nadine Craig ( eft) and Mrs. Nancy Weiman (right). Both have been employed at P.C.H.S. for six- teen years.

Tack Stumpe sevves as [President of the Board of Education for 10 years Being on the Board of Education is a public service, or in other words, a donation of time and hard work. This year, the Pyramid Staff would like to acknowledge the service of Mr. Jack Stumpe, President of the Board. Mr. Stumpe was elected to the P.C.H.S. school board in April of 1961. One year later (1962). he was elected President of the Board. and has held the office to this date. He has worked hard, with the help of the other board members. to uphold and maintain the quality of edu- cation at P.C.H.S. This year the P.C.H.S. Board of Education has approved several expansions. By the end of this summer, the building will be in compliance with the life, health, fire. and safety code. They are also expanding the school’s vocational program with an addition to the shop area, which will provide additional staff members. The Board is keeping P.C.H.S. growing to meet the educational needs of “our town.” Sa.)
