Allen Burbank THE SCIENTIFIC SIDE OF PCHS Mr. Burbank and Mr. McPheeters handle all of the science classes at PCHS. It's no wonder the students are such great lovers of science with these two intelligent gentlemen doing the instructing. Mr. Burbank has to put up with the weird lab smells and chemical reactions in his Chemistry and Physics classes. Mr. McPheeters gets to lead his Zoology, Botany, and General Science classes in dissections. He also sponsors the Freshman Class and Science Club. George McPheeters

MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT The Math department includes some new faces this year. Mrs. Ozburn and Miss Ortolan are in their first year at PCHS while Miss Stern is in her second year. These three bright, young ladies share all of the math classes with each teaching a variety including General Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra |, Algebra ||, Geometry, and Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus. Lois Smith ae Jean Horn BUSINESS MINDED PEOPLE PCHS turns out many successes in the business world due to the help of Mrs. Horn, Mrs. Dry, and Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Horn teaches shorthand and office courses to future secre- taries and also sponsors the Shorthand Club. Mrs. Dry is in charge of the typing courses. Mrs. Smith informs her students how to manage a home as well as a business in general business and bookkeeping courses.
