GUIDANCE Two of the busiest people at P.C.H.S. are Mr. Smith and Mrs. Wilson. At the beginning of this year, both counselors were helping the students to adjust their schedules. Throughout the year, they help ad- minister tests, for example the freshmen NEDT and the junior ACT. Seniors go to these counselors to ob- tain guidance for college next year. At the end of the year, they are busy assisting underclassmen to select classes for the next year. MRS. SHIRLEY BIGHAM SPECIAL EDUCATION The special education department of Pinckney- ville school is one of the few offered in this area. Students come from Pinckneyville, Trico, Tama- roa, and DuQuoin. The department is capably instructed by Mrs. Bigham. MRS. LULAROSE WILSON

MR. GARY GLENZY MISS HELEN MORGANSTERN PHYSICAL EDUCATION Physical education takes many diverse forms at P.C.H.S. Fall and winter are spent in archery, softball, volleyball, flag football, wrestling, and basketball. In the spring the girls have badminton and tumbling before Miss Morganstern runs them out in the cold for more archery and track. Mr. Glenzy's boys go out for softball and track. Both instructors have been trying to keep all us stu- dents in good physical shape. MR. KEN JOGGERST A man of iron, nerves of steel. This description has to be applied to Mr. Joggerst. Any teacher who takes the wild sophomores out in a car for driver's education has to have a good set of nerves.
