MR. GEORGE McPHEETERS MR. ALLEN BURBANK SCIENCE DEPARTMENT Science usually brings back memories of dissected frogs from Biology, spilled sulfuric acid in Chemistry, or weights dropped on somebody's toe in Physics. Somehow Mr. Allen Burbank survived all the mishaps in Chemistry, Physics and General Science this year. Biology and the dead frogs aren't very dan- gerous so Mr. George McPheeters also escaped unscathed. Hopefully these two fine science teachers will have the courage to return and face next year's students.

— MRS. MARY FELTMEYER MR. STEPHEN BELL MATH P.C.H.S. graduates have been known to score high on college placement tests. Such achievements are due to our fine math teachers. Freshmen are under the tutor- ing of Mr. Thomas in General Math or perhaps Algebra I under Mrs. Feltmeyer or Mr. Bell. Mrs. Feltmeyer also teaches Geometry. Mr. Bell takes care of Algebra II, Senior Math, and Consumer Math. Students can learn about angles, theorems, exponents, sines and cosines to their heart's content. Maybe Mr. Bell will someday even divulge the secret of his grading scale. How about it Mr. Bell? | MR. MERRIL THOMAS in |

FINE ARTS The Fine Arts department had a new addition this year, Art. Under the direction of Miss Pam Workman, students can now give way to all their creative desires. Included in this year's program were ink engraving, macrame, watercolor painting, modern sculpture and leather work- ing. Many students showed consid- erable talent as evidenced in the displays in the library. Band and Chorus moved into the new band room in the middle of this school year. A big improvement over the old band room, the new music facilities made the Chorus sound even better. Mr. Michael Thomas was the new Band and Chorus instruc- tor this year. MR.
