' Dedication This year ' s Pyramid takes pleasure in dedicating our 1964-65 edition to our teaching family, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Templeton. Mr. Templeton joined the PCHS staff in 1939 after teaching two years at Cobden High School and one year at Barry High. During his over two decades of service to our school, the many awards and accomplishments of his agri¬ culture students speak eloquently of his abilities as a teacher of young men. Mrs. Templeton made teaching a family affair when she joined her husband on the PCHS staff in 1945. She had taught in a rural school in Wayne County, Illinois, at Cobden High School, and at Pinckneyville Grade School, before joining the PCHS faculty. She is now teaching Latin and is our li¬ brarian. Our well-stocked and efficiently operated library is a tribute to her ability. Mr. and Mrs. Templeton have a fine family of three daughters. Leah is a recent graduate of Northwestern Univer¬ sity and recently married one of Mr. Templeton ' s former agriculture students, Richard Engelhardt. Louise is presently attending Southern Illinois University, and Helena is a student at Pinckneyville Junior High. Mr. and Mrs. Templeton and their family have been ac¬ tive members of the United Presbyterian Church and have been working participants in various civic and social affairs of our community. The Pyramid staff takes great pride in dedicating our 1964-65 yearbook to this fine teaching family.
