As the year went by you could cover a variety of sub- jects from Shakespeare to the contemporary stories in Voice magazine. One was a new set of books entitled Problems in Amer- ican History. A second change was instead of having one class for the whole year, the students were allowed to pick two periods which interested them most. Each period was a semester course, The final change this year was the fact that Juniors were allowed to take Government. This year all of these changes worked for the betterment of the department. 32 ,.
