Or it may be experiencing yo ur first romance and then, hopefully, your last heartache. But your 'fadjustment yearsi' have their serious as- pects also. A preparation for your future trade orjust a better understanding of yourself and the world around you are realized as you search for your identity through learning and thought. As your high school years draw to a close you gener- ally are ready to face either going out and getting ajob, married life, or pursuing your career.
