Ski Club The recently defunct Ski Club launched with an impressive start, then sunk beneath the hull of apa- thy. Kaput!! Because of lack of interest, there were no activ- ities planned for the year. And since there were no activities, the need did not arise for the 'Lclub to sponsor any money making projects. Better luck next year! T r, E S 5 5 Bill Doyle prepares for a good skiing day. Sponsored by Mr. Welton Chamberlain, the Radio Club has this year been very successful. The purpose of the Radio Club is to encourage a greater number of students to engage in the hobby of radio. The Pinckney High School Radio Club offers young men an op- portunity to study radio theory operation and Morse code. The members are expected to qualify for the F.C.C. li- cense, Which permits one to own and operate an amateur radio station. The club, this year, traveled on a field trip and their Demonstration Day during Michigan Week was a big suc- cess.

l Future Teachers The Future Teachers of America, sponsored by Mrs. Irene Mil- ler, is a club made up of young people whose future goal is to be- come a teacher. Throughout the year, members of the club have been student teaching at the Elementary and Middle Schools.
